ABOUT THE HOUSE Our Private Getaway is indeed very private. It's located in a large secluded part in the back of our garden (we also have a front and side garden for ourselves :-) The house has two double bedrooms (with comfy double beds) with each a private bathroom (with hot water... you wouldn't think you'd need it... but it's so nice), a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher), a library (Dutch and English books), a record player (including a great selection of vinyl) and a DVD player with a selection of cult and classic DVDs (so you can finally watch all the classics you've heard of but never had the time for).

On the porch, you'll find the dining area, a big lounge sofa, outdoor shower and pool deck. Of course you have your own swimming pool, nestled in a large tropical private garden. And did we already mention our huge cactus, that turns bright green as the sun sets? There are also Shimaruku trees in the garden, so in the right season you can pick your own, very healthy cherries 🍒.

We absolutely 🩷💛💚🩵💜 color. And that's clearly reflected in our vacation home. The sofa is red, the kitchen is pink, the refrigerator mint green. The walls are adorned with cool, contemporary art. The house is modernly furnished and exudes an atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else on the island. We hope this special vibe brings out the best in you and puts you in relaxation and vacation mode.

WIFI & ENTERTAINMENT Because we live in the countryside, the internet connection can be excellent or sometimes… not so good (we never use the word "bad"). It's a bit like the wind: it comes and sometimes goes. That is why the locals have a saying: ‘Tur kos na su tempu’ (all in good time). So if you really need a good connection, we recommend putting an e-SIM on your phone (@dennismobile.com Bert&Vief guests will receive double data!). But if you really want to enjoy your vacation: browse our library, watch a good movie, put an album on the record player (or if the connection is good, which is usually the case, listen to your own Spotify playlist on the JBL). Or even better… do nothing at all. Just float in your private pool and relax.

SECURITY 🐕🐕🐕🐕 We have a highly dedicated security team who will welcome you with their wagging tails. It starts the moment you drive into our dead-end street. Mr. Harmsen is the first to give you a warm welcome. She might sound a bit grumpy, but she (yes, Mr. Harmsen is a she we found out later, but that's another story) means well. Behind our gate, Linda, Roos, and Jessica guarantee your safety. But don't be afraid, they’re kind to our guests. And they won't jump on you or bother you in any other way.
